1. This program is for people who make handmade products only. Period.

As long as there are creative changes made by you to the product, we consider it handmade.

This includes items made with a cricket, an embroidery machine, via sublimation, or what we would more traditionally consider handmade like crochet, painting, sewing, etc.

This is not for dropshippers, people in network marketing (unless there is a handmade product component) or people who buy products at wholesale and resell them without any changes.

2. In order to be featured on our Small Shop Discovery website and social media, you must be located in the US or Canada.

With the influx of international sellers on Etsy making it difficult for buyers to determine whether a product is handmade or not and the frustration they feel when it takes nearly a month for a product to be delivered, we wanted to make SSD all about “local” sellers, those here in the US and Canada.
